Information Collection / Opt-Out
HomePages® provides its customers (also referred to as "you") the tools and resources to collect your subscribers' mobile phone
numbers on an opt-in basis using mobile keywords. Subscribers on the other hand have the ability to opt-out of your
distribution lists easily.
|
|
Mobile Keyword
Mobile phone numbers are collected when subscribers text your mobile keyword (assigned to you by HomePages®) to one of
HomePages®' short codes (69302 or 36000 ). By texting your mobile keyword, subscribers are opting-in their mobiles phone
numbers to join your distribution list(s). They are also giving implied consent for you to send them text messages and to
allow you to view and access their mobile phone numbers. Subscribers can remove their mobile phone numbers from your list
at anytime by replying to any text message they receive from the HomePages® text marketing service with any of the following
words; STOP, QUIT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE.
|
|
Sharing and Usage / Exporting
HomePages® owns your contact information collected through your use of its text marketing service. You own your subscribers'
contact information. A "subscriber" is defined as any person who has opted-in through the HomePages® text marketing service to
receive messages from you via a mobile keyword.
HomePages® does not share, sell, or rent any contact information with any party unless HomePages® obtains explicit or
implied consent from the owners of such contact information. An implied consent is when your subscriber texts your Mobile Keyword
to HomePages®' short code. In this case, your subscriber's phone number may be shared with you.
NOTE: You are not allowed to share your subscribers' contact information with any third party for any reason. Also, HomePages® may
use or disclose information, including your personal information and your subscribers' contact information, under the following very
limited circumstances:
• To enforce our Terms of Use or other legal agreements.
• To outsource certain support activities, such as billing, customer service, or responding to inquiries.
• In response to a subpoena, court order, or other legal process.
• To establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
• To a company controlled by, or under common control with, HomePages® for any purpose permitted by this Privacy Policy.
• When HomePages® believes such use or disclosure is (a) necessary in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding
suspected illegal activities, fraud, or situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, or (b) required by law.
• In the event of a merger, acquisition, consolidation, divestiture, or bankruptcy of HomePages®.
NOTE: The HomePages® Service is not intended for children under 13, and HomePages® does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13.

TEXT MARKETING ANTI-SPAM POLICY
The HomePages® text messaging service is provided using either of the two following short codes
(the “From†on a received message); 69302 or 36000. HomePages® allows only verified opt-in subscriptions,
and the service ensures that all subscribers can opt-out quickly, easily, and permanently from unwanted text messages.
This is done by replying to a received text message from the short codes 69302 or 36000 with one of the following words;
STOP, QUIT, CANCEL or UNSUBSCRIBE.
|
|
Our Definition of Spam
• We consider any unsolicited, unexpected, or unwanted text message as Spam.
• We do NOT allow use of 3rd party lists without incontrovertible proof of assent from the
individuals represented on those lists to the receiving of text messages from a specific business.
• We believe that any type of communication sent to a subscriber about an unrelated subject,
that the subscriber did not request, to be Spam.
|
|
HomePages® Anti-Spam policy
HomePages® follows an ANTI-SPAM policy for all of its communications protocols. This means that we have
a zero tolerance for UNSOLICITED TEXT MESSAGES; NOTIFICATIONS; ALERTS; OR ANY MESSAGES THAT YOU MAY
RECEIVE FROM SOMEONE WHO SHOULD NOT HAVE YOUR MOBILE NUMBER. Please let us know about any suspected
abuse, with the sender name (shown at the beginning of the message), your mobile number (to be removed);
the date and time you received it and the contents of the message. To report any abuse or violations of
inappropriate use of our service, please contact us with your comments/complaints. Your report will be registered

aforementioned keywords above.
If, after you have opted out, you continue to receive unwanted text messages, please email us at
